Stamp Out Bullying

Just thought i’d post a quick update on the campaign launch.

At the moment i’m trying to get my school involved in it and hopefully get something started there =D

Not posted in a while due to being ill and busy.

My school has agreed to let us launch the campaign there so woo look out for us
Hopefully the bank account and constituion will get sorted out soon then we can really get started

Today has been good, come home to find a call from ITV but I think they may of thought we were launching anti-bullying week
Also bringing the October meeting forward due to us needing to sort out anti-bullying week out ASAP

Going to try and contact some schools tomorow about hopefully getting them involved.

Today has been a brill day, Lesley came from Walsall VA and helped us now we have some sort of sense of direction.

I’ve also been invited into a radio station which is sooo cool :O

I’ve got some stuff to do and i’ll update with more news soon

Heyy, this morning I woke up with a stiff neck which has been horrible all day
On the plus side my 2nd mom (best mates mom) has found someone who will deliver about 200 leaflets with a free paper in their area which is great so i’ve been doing them with our ever so reliable paper cutter :\

Also Helen has managed to get her school interested and wants some flyers and stuff so that’s exciting

Virtual Workspace & Battlefront have allowed us to use their logos on our materials.

Also the meeting with Walsall VA is set up and i’ve also been in contact with some local radio stations
Going to ask my school tomorrow hopefully about getting them involved, so I shall let you know how that goes

Quite a bit has happened today, i’ve spoken to Walsall Voluntary Action who want to help us and want to help set up things (yay) it’s about time
Someone want’s to come round next week and look over everything we’ve got so that will be fun.

Also the campaign has been added to Battlefront and I may get the chance to be the 20th campaigner: http://battlefront.co.uk/campaign/stamp-out-bullying/ and at the current time of me writing this i’m at number 1 which is soooo cool.

Wahoo, I know it’s Thursday but I forgot to post what happened Tuesday.

Martyn came and we got a lot of stuff sorted out, contacted some people, radio stations and also looked into funding.

Today I phoned up Walsall Safeguarding Children’s Board because we need a child protection policy and the NSPCC want £210+ to check it
I also went to school yesterday, well 6th form (yay) and officialy start Monday
Hopefully the school will want to get involved in the campaign, so it may get even more exciting

Finally managed to get online, Stacey has just gone and Martyn went about an hour ago.

Meeting went well and was rather fun even though not many people turned up (just Stace and Martyn) but all the same it was our first meeting which went well.

Came up with a few ideas and some other things we haven’t discussed and also a launch date

Today is the day before our first official meeting and even though a few people have dropped out we are still going to hold it, hopefully everything should go fine but there will be a post tomorrow to let you know how it went.
